An MPA NRW forum „Hardness“ will also take place this year from 11 – 12 May
Since 1947 the MPA NRW has been Germany’s largest calibration laboratory for hardness reference blocks, indenters and for testing and calibrating material testing machines.
The employees of the MPA NRW participate in national and international standardisation bodies and numerous task forces. Thus the MPA NRW provides the chairman of the ISO TC 164 SC3 as well as the chairman of the AWT Technical Committee 12.
As the organiser and reference laboratory of round robin tests and comparison measurements in the sphere of hardness tests the MPA NRW possesses a wide range of experience.
This year we also want to report on current developments in the sphere of standardisation and practical questions in the context of the MPA NRW forum „Hardness 2011“ .
