Smoke protection: Smoke tightness test
The testing laboratory of the MPA NRW tests smoke control doors of all opening kinds are tested with regard to smoke tightness and operability according to national DIN resp. European EN standards.
The test certificates are used for
- smoke control doors for national use according to the Building Rules List with a general appraisal certificate
- combined fire and smoke control doors for the approval procedure of the German Institute for constructional engineering (DIBt)
- test certificates according to EN standards to be presented in other EU member states for the respective national procedure
